Preparation for filling

  1. Unfold rack
  2. Attaching legs to top beams
  3. Place pre-germination bags on germination rack
    1. 14 standard pockets (black cross cords)
      Distribution: 3 left / 8 center / 3 right
    2. 11 wide pockets (white cross cords)
      Distribution: 2 left / 7 center / 2 right
  4. Fixing support rods by means of spacer bars
    1. Lay flat on rack over opened bags
    2. If these lie well, then block rods

Filling of germination racks

Filling the pre-germination bags is very easy and can be done in two ways:

  1. With a hall filler
  2. From bigbags (Video from sec. 0.33)

Tip: Make a platform of pallets next to the sprouting rack so you stand a little higher.
This can be seen in the video starting sec. 0.38

Step 3b

4 Insert wheels in the bottom beams.
The axle has a diameter of 40 mm. The wheels have a diameter of 200 mm.
The advantages are considerable:
– You need little space during filling
– You can easily unload a big bag

Filling the planter is very easy:

  1. Hold the pre-germination bags above the planter or scoop bucket.
  2. Pull open the Velcro closure at the bottom of the pre-germination bags.
Step 6
Storing the germination racks and pre-germination bags
  1. Sealing the pre-germination bags
  2. Collapsing the germination racks
  3. The germination bags with tubes remain on the germination rack
  4. Place 10 collapsed sprouting racks on a strong pallet.
    This is for 14 tons of seed potatoes
    The sprouting rack has security so that the pile is safe and stable
